Its the end of the world, and KDE!

So KDE is coming to an end :).

I think they got it all wrong, what was finally finished was the 48x48 mimetypes not KDE.
So today I started to kill KDE a bit more :) 32x32 :) enjoy!

Only 227 icons to do in this size :)

I just want to say thank you for your work and patience (that's really a huge number of icons there :) ) - the new icons do make differet user experience having more contrast and details (I don't know if these are the correct terms, because I'm lame in design). Thanks a lot again!

N00bish question:

Why is it necessary to make a 32x32 set? Can't you just render the 48x48 SVGs as 32x32 without loosing quality? What are you doing differently in the different sizes exactly?
Nice going, Nuno! The icon set is really really nice! Congrats!

Thanks Nuno, the new icons rock!

Have you already planned your new projects?

What about metal icons for the apps buttons?

This is not the exact image I was looking for... I was looking for an image of Kontact with the icons on the left, something like metal, and incrusted in the background of the app :D

I'm a Gnome user, so I am unlikely to see much of your work in use ;). However, I must say I'm impressed by your work, both in terms of quality and one-man effort. I'm especially digging the 48x48 and 32x23 icons.

Congratulations!

@Anonymous because the meaningful elements of an icon need to be visible in all sizes, because the svg scales bu your screen pixels don't, because an outline is one pixel in 256x256 and in 16x16 :) etc, etc...

@Poldark I know what you are talking about... there are many things in going on in the screnshoot you refer 2, most of them are done but some not so much so its not ready yet...

@Berti, and all, thank you so much :D
I like your blog, and also like the article, and thank you for provide me so much information :))
