Kig is a program for exploring geometric constructions.

Some times I decide to kill one of the numerous elements we have in techbase missing icons list, today I finished Kig.
Hope you guys like it.

O and BTW I might be going to the desktop summit in Gran Canaria so here it goes ...

Wow! Great Icon!

btw, isn't the "to" missing in the Desktop Summit picture? Currently it only reads "I'm going Gran Canaria Desktop Summit"

In that page I can see that KMix icon is missing, but it's one of the most "used" icons. Please, pretty please, create a new one! I don't like the current one...

pretty!

but, I'm not really sure about the upper part of the cube: it's blue-white-ish and looks gorgeous over the black "blackboard?" but I cannot really see it when it overflow in the white border and over too...
can you darken/shrink/overglow/do some magik with the cube border?

Hi!

I like it. I only have a doubt: the cube is isometric while the tablet under it is in perspective. Wouldn't it be better to draw also the cube in perspective?

By the way, congrats for all your great work!

I'd suggest a different color than black for the background, the small icon resembles a system monitor, otherwise it looks nice :)

@Mario you are totaly right and that's how I started the cube, but due to the fact that angle was to small i was having a lot of AA isuses and like this its way sharper that is very important in icon making.

@zed
Yeah the color could be difrent but this ones look soo good that I keept them. I made the cone to have atleast one that surely worked.

@blueget yeah the "to" I fight alot with the fonts there so i could make it look nice enough... in the end this was the only thing that worked. I had to kill the to
the way is suposed to be read is
desktop sumit, I'm going.

Kig is 2D geometry simulation program, or am I mistaken?

That is 3D icon is a little bit misleading for it isn't it?
